Our team may be small but we see this as a positive. You will know us well and we will deal with all your queries, issues, orders and with the wineries. This means all information is first hand, you are not pushed from one department to another, nor are we a faceless name at the end of the line or email.
As the direct connection between the winery and the customer we provide up to the minute, news, information and background to the wines and wineries and supporting your sales every step of the way. You will deal with someone who knows the wines and can offer advice on all issues from pricing and wine lists, to training and food matching as well as the technical specifications of the wines.
Warehousing and Distribution
We are small but our infrastructure is not, bringing you the best of both worlds. Close relationships with our warehouse and distribution service at London City Bond ensures that wine is maintained in fully insured, optimum conditions. Delivery is nationwide and we benefit from a well established, effective delivery network with full tracking and next day delivery to many areas.
Quality Control (QC)
Quality is of the utmost importance to us, and our wines are our pride and joy. Therefore, we do everything we can to ensure wines reach our customers in the best possible condition through correct storage and delivery. A key part of the process is ensuring they arrive in the UK at their best therefore every batch received is tasted and the results logged. In addition all wines returned from customers on the grounds of being out of condition or faulty are inspected and all results forwarded to the wineries for comment.
Hallowed Ground are here to support our customers every step of the way. We will provide training for your staff not a standard format/presentation as you may receive with a larger supplier, everything we do is bespoke and tailored to your requirements – there is no one size fits all every business is different.
Our customers also benefit from our many years experience in marketing and PR in the wine trade - we are not salesmen looking to make this month’s budget. We provide advice and ideas on promotions, events, PR and menu presentation to our customers as part of our service.
No matter how knowledgeable your customers and staff are (and we know this can vary greatly) it always pays great dividends to have all the info at your fingertips. We can provide technical sheets and images of all wines plus regular updates on wines, medals, vintage reports, interviews, reviews and developments to ensure you and your staff are able to talk enthusiastically and knowledgably about the wines you offer.
